Once players have met Marguerit Maida, who first appears before they have to track down the Parallel Processing Unit, they will soon see a marker that says " Pilot - Last Known Position."

The ocean floor contains all manner of mysteries, from strange ancient obelisks to all manner of rare creatures and resources.

As players explore the seas and ice floes, they will discover a series of mysteries that they can try and solve in the hope that each one will bring them a little closer to learning the fate of their sister. You will see cargo boxes and lights guiding the path.Subnautica: Below Zero is about more than simple survival. Dive down in your Seatruck to the entrance of the mine, which is almost directly below. Hug the island without going too deep until you come to a sudden, deep drop off.īe sure to avoid sharks and other fauna which can do serious damage to your Seatruck. You will continue until you arrive at the Dock.įrom here, turn right, or toward a Southwest direction. This is also the direction of the Delta Station Dock. You will not be able to squeeze your Seatruck through the mine's door.įrom your Drop Pod, head two clicks, or marks, East of South.


There are plenty of Oxygen Plants so we recommend traveling to the Site in your Seatruck, then using the Seaglide to explore the mine. The Koppa Mining site ranges from about 150 meters - 300 meters in depth. After that, finish collecting any needed materials and return to your Drop Pod to make the tank. Look inside the Data Box and collect the High Capacity Tank blueprint. Luckily, you won't need to scan fragments as the entire blueprint is in this box.įrom your Drop Pod, head South and look for a section of bridges that feature three tall coral columns.īelow you'll see a small Alterra equipment area with cargo boxes and a pod with scannable Enameled Glass. You will also need the High Capacity Tank Data Box, which is located in the Deep Twisty Bridges. If you haven't already, we recommend dropping a Beacon at one of these cave entrances to make future return trips easier. The High Capacity Oxygen Tank gives you 90 seconds of oxygen and coupled with the Rebreather is essential for lower depths.Īgain, the hardest element to find will be Silver. The most difficult items to attain will be the Silver ore for the Wiring Kit check the Finding Delta Base page and read the Building a Compass section for detailed instructions on finding Silver, located in the Arctic Kelp Caves, for the Wiring Kit.Īnother item you'll need to explore the Koppa Mining Site is a High Capacity Oxygen Tank.

The Rebreather requires a Wiring Kit, Fiber Mesh and Silicone Rubber. When you've collected the data, you can return to your Drop Pod to build it. It will have instructions for building the Rebreather inside. On the pad, you'll notice a small Data Box. If you're in your Seatruck, be sure to hop out before reaching the 150 meter crush depth if you have not upgraded it. Look for a small base or Alterra pad with cargo items on it. You'll need to find the Deep Twisty Bridges, where the water is dark blue or purplish.

To begin, leave from Delta Island heading Southwest or South from your Drop Pod. The Rebreather resuses C02 and conserves oxygen at lower depths, which is important as some parts of the Mining Site are more than 200 meters deep. To find the Koppa Mining Site, you'll first need a Rebreather. First, you will need to collect some supplies in order to safely reach it.
